An Evolutionary Potpourri
Surf the Web, watch the news, or even look out your window, and you will see that civilization is experiencing planetary chaos. The Spontaneous Evolution is in process! As a messenger providing a “new,” self-empowering biology, I have been blessed to be invited to offer presentations around the world. Currently, my life has taken on the character of being a “road warrior.” Not a Mad Max character, more of a Johnny Appleseed version.
At the present time, civilization requires 1.6 planet Earths to support its lifestyle. With only one Earth, we are clearly making unsustainable demands on the planet. NASA has recognized that if we keep our current lifestyle, civilization is facing an irreversible collapse within the next 20 years.
One of Einstein’s famous quotes, “We can’t solve problems by using the same thinking we used when we created them.” Since the current version of civilization is the root cause of the problem … we need a new version of civilization to survive, or better yet, to thrive. Futurist Buckminster Fuller offered the solution. You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.”
Global chaos is a consequence of today’s failing civilization. We, and of course that includes YOU dear cultural creatives, are architects of an evolving new civilization. We must change our way of life, letting go of disharmonious behaviors and adapting to a more cooperative lifestyle, among each other and especially, in harmony with GAIA, our home.
This month, Alex has compiled a short video highlighting several insights that may facilitate our own evolution, video clips that will enhance our personal contribution in manifesting a thriving future, for us and our descendants.
