John 14:12
The “IN” that changed the world. Traditional Christian belief interprets the phrase “he who believes IN me…” to mean that to create miracles in our world we must first “believe” in the prophet Jesus as a deity. For example,“Do you “believe” in Jesus?”
In today’s world of quantum physics and epigenetics, a more accurate interpretation of the phrase would omit the “in” and simply read he who believes me…” The point is that Jesus was teaching people they personally have the power to do miracles, but they were not understanding the lesson He offered. He was emphasizing that people did not “believe” his message, about their spiritual empowerment.
The interpretation of the phrase is whether you believe in Jesus as the “son of God,” OR, do you believe in the wisdom of Jesus as a teacher. Simply, what’s more important, the man or his teachings….
Gnosticism and The Biology of Belief: Gnosticism, represented by a variety of sects, is a collection of philosophical ideas that emerged in the late 1st century AD and were influential in the development of early Christianity. The fundamental belief is that human beings contain a piece of God (the highest good or a divine spark) within themselves. Most Gnostic sects denied that Jesus was a supreme being that had come into flesh. They saw Jesus to be a human who attained enlightenment through gnosis (knowledge) and taught his disciples to do the same. Gnosticism proclaims that salvation comes from inside, finding your true identity within.
Gnostic beliefs emphasize personal spiritual knowledge over traditional religious institutions and teachings. In contrast conventional Christianity implies that we need priests to be intercessors connecting us mere humans with the mighty God. In a five-volume work entitled Adversus haereses(“Against Heresies”) written around 180AD by Christian Bishop Irenaeus of Lyon outlawed Gnostics as heretics and enemies of the Church.
Today, Gnosticism is back, not as just a philosophy but as modern science defined by quantum physics, the most valid of all the sciences. The gnostic philosophy of quantum physics is emphasized in an article entitled The Mental Universe, by physicist Richard Conn Henry of Johns Hopkins University. His article, published in the most prestigious scientific journal, Nature, concludes with, “The Universe is immaterial–It’s mental and spiritual. Live and enjoy.”
The mechanics of how consciousness manifests our life experiences is illuminated in the new science of Epigenetics, the science of how our beliefs control our genetics and the character of our lives. The spiritual connection, alluded to in quantum physics, is now revealed in cell biology as the role of a set of “self-receptors” on the outer surface of the cell membrane (the cell’s skin). Every human possesses a unique set of these receptors through which we download our own personalized immortal “energy field” (spirit), a “broadcast” from the external environment. We are all spiritual beings that are downloaded into a virtual reality generating human body. As spirits, we are each a piece of “God” co-creating with all the other “pieces” of God in manifesting our world experience. We can never be separated from the bigger spiritual field we refer to as God. As the Gnostics emphasized, we do not need intercessors, people (priests) who intervene on our behalf with God.
Unfortunately, the Heaven-on-Earthpotential we can create has been hijacked by the programs we downloaded into our subconscious minds, especially before age seven. Ninety-five percent of the day we are not using our creative conscious mind to manifest our lives, we are unknowingly creating our experiences based on downloaded subconscious programs.
As described in the book, The Honeymoon Effect, when we fall in love, we start creating our lives with our spiritually infused conscious mind. Love drives miracles! This is when we manifest the teachings of Jesus, the persona of Love, and fully experience the miraculous “works” that He did! In this time of evolutionary upheaval, we are being called upon to let go of “programs” and become creators of Heaven-on-Earth!
