What happens to a mind in love?

What happens to a mind in love?

A mind in “love” releases very healthy chemicals such as dopamine, vasopressin, oxytocin and growth hormone, all of which enhance the growth of the body’s cells. In contrast, a mind in fear releases stress hormones and inflammatory agents which prepare the body for flight or fight. In doing so, stress signals shut down the growth and maintenance of the body and inhibit the immune system’s functions … hence, fear “kills.”
