Bioneers Conference at UC Santa Cruz

The Kresge Common Ground Center is hosting the first annual UCSC Bioneers Conference, May 2nd-3rd at Kresge College. This event will feature a keynote from world renowned author and scientist Bruce Lipton Ph.D. on his book The Biology of Belief, as well as, from author and sociology professor John Foran Ph.D. on his work around climate justice and radical social movements. We will also be showcasing on campus projects led by UCSC students. Bioneers is a national organization dedicated to social and environmental justice. The national Bioneers Conference is the original whole systems forum of innovation and collaboration for achieving social, cultural and environmental justice.

Panels and workshops will cover topics in ending racism, social enterprise, journalism, Native American community, shifting consciousness, food justice, sustainable energy, indigenous farm worker justice and education, and water sustainability.
