This definition best captures the current intention and principles behind PSYCH-K. It also fits the growing emphasis on the role of spirit in our lives. The conclusion is that “we” are not in our bodies, but instead, “we” are spirits playing our “broadcasts” through our bodies, like a television set. The broadcast isn’t coming from the television set, it is coming from the broadcaster!

We are the programmers of our lives. We control all aspects of our lives in this way. That includes our happiness, health, wealth, self-esteem, relationships, careers, and all other aspects of our lives. In other words, the solution to our problems is to go to the true source of the problem, which is ultimately spiritual, not psychological. The psychological problems are a subset (a kind of side effect) of the spiritual ignorance we have about our true nature as divine beings having a human experience. With the emphasis on our spiritual natures, we are able to address the core source of our problems, rather than using energy psychology techniques to just treat symptoms.
